Dear Vasey Bros: Just to let you know that we evacuated from Merced Assembly Center to our new home Granada, Colorado on Sept 2nd and arrived here safely Sept 5th on Union Pacific Train [.] We crossed five states including Calif, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. We saw nothing but treeless barren, desert cactus, and sagebrush for miles & miles. Colorado weather is changeable had rain last night. Camp is huge one. Also building schools. Buildings are not yet complete but when it's finish be nice place. We saw beautiful Salt Lake and cities of Denver. How's everyone? We're fine. Will write more later - Best regards to all.

Sincerely Geo Yamamoto

3/28/16 I have transcribed this post card but would like Judy to look it over and format the same way she has formatted previous letters and correspondence. Hopefully, this note can then be deleted - Jean
